Janina Alexandra Anfone Lintula of the Catherina Cittadini School in Dumaguete City dazzled in her regional meet debut after collecting 6 gold medals and 1 bronze in multiple swimming events.
Janina was her category’s cream of the crop whose latest assemblage of gold includes the following: 50-meter freestyle, 100-meter freestyle, 50-meter breaststroke, 100-meter breaststroke, 4×50 medley relay, and 4×50 relay freestyle. She also secured a bronze medal in the 50-meter butterfly event.
This golden girl has Coach Giovanie Trapila and Coach Edot Elola to thank for. Young Janine is a member of the Blue Dolphins swim club whose members like Marco Sayson and Karl Fernandez are equally sensational in this year’s edition of the regional athletic meet.
At 11 years of age, pretty-faced Janina has exceeded expectations. With constant correct practice and sheer dedication, Janine will soon be a household name in swimming.
She will test her mettle during this year’s Palarong Pambansa in Marikina.
